Kamara Says He'll Play at Notre Dame Next Season

Duval Kamara, a wide receiver from Hoboken, N.J., has verbally committed to play football at Notre Dame, a newspaper reported.

Kamara, listed at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, is the fifth player to commit to Notre Dame's recruiting class of 2007, the South Bend Tribune reported Thursday.

Last season, he caught 46 passes for 983 yards and 12 touchdowns, and ranked by recruiting analyst Tom Lemming as one of the top five receivers in the country.

NCAA recruiting rules prohibit college coaches from publicly commenting on a prospect until he has signed a national letter-of-intent. Signing day is Feb. 7.
